Police Departments, DMV, and Motorcycle Laws.
The following information will assist you in finding any information you need to stay informed about the laws that apply to different states, buying and selling motorcycles, or making inquiries with local police. Don't worry about keeping the sites! The information will always be here for you when ever you need it.
http://www.usacops.com/ is a website dedicated to providing contact information for local police departments, sheriffs offices, and other law enforcement agencies in the United States. According to everything I have seen, they offer a very complete supply of addresses and phone numbers. Good to have!
http://www.dmv.org/ is a website that is not owned or operated by any state agency but, can provide you with the direction to all DMVs in any state, including your own! Obtain all the printable documents you need to buy or sell, provide information about sold or stolen motorcycles to the state, or do a title search for those lost titles......it happens!!
http://www.bikerplaza.com/motorcycle-law.html is one of my favorite sites! All you need to do is choose a state, any state, and it will provide you with an easy to read account of the motorcycle laws pertaining to that state. Its a very good idea to acquaint yourself with the differences in laws when you are traveling. Keep this one at hand.
